  1. ProTabsXT©(2.02) is an enhanced version of ProTabsXT©(1.55) that is available as a Shareware product. It is the same program that has been sold for two years for $245
  2. There are two versions of the Xtension in the Self Extracting Archive. 
  3. ProTabsXT©(2.02)_(3.2) For use with QuarkXpress 3.2 and later releases
  4. ProTabsXT©(2.02)_(3.1) For use with QuarkXpress 3.1 and later releases

  6. ProTabsXT©(2.02) 
  7. ProTabsXT©(2.02) fixes a bug in 2.0 which caused a crash if Formats were accessed with ProTabsXT©(2.0) loaded. The fault was in the resource file which had an inadvertant resource generated. A change was made to report an error if it is loaded with QuarkXPress prior to 3.2.
  8. A change was made in the Tab Setup to have Command Period do a cancel.

  10. ProTabsXT(2.02) fixes a bug in 2.01 that did not remove the registration screen after registration.

  12. ProTabsXT©(2.02) also contains a new menu item called Good News which allows for the displaying of Bible verses on Launching Quark. After registration this feature may be toggled between on and off.

  15. ProTabsXT is now supplied on a Shareware Basis and may be used for 30 days without Charge. It is expected that it will be registered after that for $30 for each computer that it is run on.

  17. A complete Printed Manual will be sent to Registered Users for  an additional $5 to cover mailing.

  19. Registration entitles the user to unlimited support on Compuserve ,  and AppleLink EAG.

  21. Registration will remove the Shareware notification messages on the screen that ProTags was registered on.

  23. Support of the Shareware concept will ensure releases of updates and new Sotware Releases.

Be sure to include Version # Displayed on your Registration Screen. You will receive by surface or E mail your registration number. Remember that registration is required for each Mac or PC QuarkXPress serial #. No additional charge is required for network use. No additional charge is required for the next 4 upgrades which will be available via Compuserve DTP forum. Users who purchased ProTabsXT prior to this shareware release will have unlimited upgrades.

  34. ProTabsXT is installed by simply extracting the ProTabsXT.sea file and selecting the QuarkXPress folder as the destination.

  41. The Help file along with the samples supplied should allow you to become proficient with ProTabsXT. Registering will provide you with a complete manual for $5.00 extra.

  43. Be sure to examine ProTagsXT© and ProHyphensXT© which are also available as Shareware. If registered together they can be supplied as a single XTension.
